Free eBook “Android Design Guidelines” from MutualMobile. Featured in Tech Crunch, Mobile Marketer and Smashing Magazine, the Android Design Guidelines have become one of the go-to Android resources.
Book Description
Fragmentation and device diversity are legitimate fears when it comes to designing Android apps, but these issues can be overcome when a designer understands the particulars of the Android platform. Unfortunately that’s easier said than done.
Android is a programmer heavy OS that has not been as friendly to designers as iOS. Their resources pale in comparison to Apple’s and consequently Android apps have suffered and are frequently the victims of bad iOS ports. Mutual Mobile first created the Android Design Guidelines as an internal document to empower our own designers, then later decided to share it with the global design community.
